A Grade 2 listed building, originally built in 1675-6 by James Richard (Citizen and Ironmonger of London), one of the oldest buildings of its type in London For centuries, 10 Buckingham Street remained as a single residence and the challenge was to transform the building into a Commercial premises all without losing the original features and character. This challenge was undertaken by Concept Interiors and the Design Team and achieve all of this to create a building with a modern uplift and feel. This challenge was undertaken and managed all within the restrictions imposed by the Conservation Area and Historic Buildings. The result was achieved with an eye to detail and quality complete with modern twists characterised with a new glazed atrium at the top of the elegant staircase, delivered on time and within budget.
